XRevert (was YosemiteRevert) changes application icons, system icons (such as the folder icon), menu bar icons, and more, as well as XRevertthe system font, in OS X 10.10 Yosemite and later back to the way they were in prior versions of OS X. It also makes changes to aesthetics, such as the “traffic light icons” and menu textures.

 

WHAT’S NEW

Changes:

  • Adds aesthetics support for the Graphite appearance
  • International support
  • Restores the ability to change the system font (with some bugs…) in OS X El Capitan
  • Fixes for the Wi-Fi menu bar icon
  • Fixes an issue regarding text color with accessibility options enabled
  • Fixes an issue relating to checking for updates

 

Known Bugs:

  • Battery icon may be cut off by 1 pixel height when charging
  • “Traffic light” icons do not get changed for iTunes

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Intel, 64-bit processor
  • OS X 10.10 (Yosemite)
  • OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or later with Rootless disabled
  • System language set to English
