Application Wizard 4.6.1 – Convenient app launcher and quitter

Application Wizard provides fast access to applications, documents, folders, and disks. It lets you quickly open, quit, and make applications active, run AppleScripts, and reduce screen clutter by turning on single-application mode.

With Application Wizard you can also browse volumes and favorite folders to quickly open enclosed items, eject and mount disks, check memory usage, and to easily access recent documents and contacts. Finally, Application Wizard lets you preview images, music, movies, and documents, and view file properties and metadata.

WHAT’S NEW

Version 4.6.1:

• The incompatibilities with macOS 15 Sequoia have been solved.
• If you have multiple internal startup disks, the Special menu by default no longer displays APFS data volumes. To show them for disks other than your current startup disk, open the Menus window, click Special Menu in the sidebar, and deselect the “Hide APFS data volumes” checkbox.
• Social profiles in the Contacts submenu have been revised and completed. In addition to that, all labels in the Contacts submenu are now displayed in a dimmed color.
• The Open With submenu of previews now excludes applications located on connected servers.
• A bug that caused running applications in the Applications panel not to be updated when certain applications (e.g. Maps, Home, News) quit has been fixed.
• A bug that caused the size of vertical video previews to be incorrect has been fixed.
• A bug that caused tags not to be displayed for items in smart folders has been fixed.
• Some other minor improvements and fixes have been introduced.
